Sonofilia Canceled, but Shadow to Play KCRW Halloween Benefit Show
Sadly, DJ Shadow's only live show of the year, scheduled to have taken place November 21st in Guadalajara, Mexico, has been canceled. Citing governmental concerns about swine flu and oppressive economic conditions, the promoters have postponed the entire Sonofilla Festival until next year.
There is a silver lining, however...Shadow will be performing a DJ set in Los Angeles on Halloween, October 31st, for the KCRW benefit. Go Here For More Information

DJ Shadow is making a semi-surprise appearance at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas tonight. It's his first and possibly last DJ appearance of the year, so if you know anyone that can get you into Stubb's tonight, head on down...it's going to be crazy over there!

DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist have just confirmed that they will be playing the legendary Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 24th, 2007. Apparently this will be the first of several big shows worldwide, possibly prefacing a new chapter in the Brainfreeze/Product Placement saga...stay tuned for more developments!
Dj Shadow To Perform At Bonnaroo!
Superfly Productions and A.C. Entertainment are proud to announce the initial lineup for the 2007 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. The sixth annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 14-17 on the same beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. A full list of confirmed acts follows, and more will be announced in the coming weeks. The final Bonnaroo 2007 lineup will total over 100 bands and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages over four days. (read more)
