Hard Sell Tour Diary- Day 19 and Wrap-up (March 28 and April 4, 2008)
Lots of ground to cover, so let's get right into it.
Luxembourg- cool, decent show, generous crowd...was nice to play somewhere new. Didn't get to see much of the city, but such is life on the road. It's essentially airports, busses, hotels, and venues (with the odd, very welcome exception, which I'll get to in a moment). (read more)
Hard Sell Tour Diary- Day 10 (March 19, 2008)
Hamburg, Germany...We played in a WW2-era bunker of some sort, a gargantuan building with walls several feet thick...after surviving several attempted demolitions, the structure was converted into an arts and community resource centre. (read more)

If I ever decide to publish a memoir about my time spent in London, there would surely be a chapter dedicated to John Henry's Rehearsal Studios. Located off of Caledonian Road (near where the old Mo' Wax offices were), John Henry's has hosted many a panicked DJ Shadow and Quannum rehearsal, going back to at least 1997, when I had two days to assemble an opening performance for Radiohead's big arena tour of the UK. Welcome to DJ Shadow's tour diary, live from the Hard Sell European Tour. Sitting here on the plane over to London...Michael Fiebach (from DJShadow.com), Ben Stokes (visuals guy) and Sound Man Neal are all on board with me from San Francisco. Cut is flying in from Los Angeles. Additional crew includes Luc (stagehand from Pittsburgh) and Jamal (my manager and tour manager from London). Kid Koala, who is excellent, is opening for us on most of the dates. (read more)
