Last Minute Remix Cover Submission

This submission for the DJ Shadow Remix Project CD Cover came in at the last minute, at the end of March, and has become one of Shadow's favorites (after going through 200+ submissions). Shadow is currently going through all of the tracks for the project, and is starting to formulate the track-listing, and how the CD will be presented. Of course, we need to make the final call on the artwork ASAP!

As with the other submissions that Shadow posted to the site, we want to know your opinions! Please let us know what you think of this intriguing design from "Cutbert."

Hey guys, I see that the back cover is also posted. Here is my full album incase they missed it
good luck to everyone! Last submission by cutbert is cool.

The dots represent the number of DJs who made the remixes. The blue lines down the pamphlet represent the songs they made. Those blue lines would be replaced with an image of the DJ who did the remix or an "avatar" that represents them. enjoy!

It would be great to see all of the submission in a gallery. Very cool to look at other people's ideas and methods. Here's my submission as well...

I like Cutbert's, but I'm also kinda diggin' James Amundson's. I also like Yassaman Sheri's for a single, but not the album.

Truly enjoying the Cutbert design! And I also notice folks here want to see some of the other submissions. So I thought I would post mine too. Let me know what you all think.I really dig this contest. Seeing new designers is always refreshing!

Last but never too late; really liking the submission by Cutbert. It's fresh with something that doesn't look like prior Shadow coverart, yet it still works incredibly well. Love the cartoon graphics and how there are so many elements to it. Since this is for the remix project it seems all to appropriate, containing numerous samples done by many different DJs. Obviously my votes going with Cutbert, and I hope others join. I would love to see this in my CD collection!!!

great accomplishment for this last cover. but it is true that we see the source of inspiration. even this is still a very good creation.

Bangslan, nice entry. There are a lot of things that I like about it. Nice composition and use of collage.
I too would love to see some other entries. The Cutbert entry is well done, but I agree with the clip art commentary. Williams' origami bird stands out to me. For those who are curious, here's a link to my entry. Please feel free to comment....

objectively, cutbert's the best one.it's psychodelic, fresh and draws attention even against my will. i like it
